I have a 2007 Adventure Island that I would like to put the sailing rudder on. I have a twist and stow that needs to be replaced. Is it possible to put a not twist and stow rudder on a 2007 AI. Will the gudgeon bolt up to this year boat? |

Unless you make some special adapter, no. I don't know of anyone who has done this. The other option would be to sell your AI and buy an AI (2011 or later). Keith |

Yeah I took a hard look at my 2013 adventure and saw that it has a totally different rudder gudgeon with two screw mounts and my 2007 is without a gudgeon and just has a thru pin....it sails okay with the Twist and stow but a larger rudder would be great...my have to order the parts to upgrade my 2013 to an adventure and give the 2007 ai to my girlfriend. ..she won't be out in 40 knot gales... |
