Hi, noticed this lying in my TI (2016) when I got home from a days sailing? Anyone else experienced the same, and if so any good fixes? Thanks... ![]() |

Hi haliboo This is what happened my 2016 TI. Judging by similar posts on this forum I think it is a batch problem on 2016 dagger boards. https://www.hobie.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=37878 No satisfactory fix as it has broken out of the dagger board. I got it replaced under warranty. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk |

Haliboo If you are like me in northen ireland you are likely to wait a considerable time to get replacement. Mine had to come from hobie europe and i think they had to get from usa. Long wait for me. You can stay on water if you dont mind a little hassle when using broken dagger board. I drilled a very small hole at bottom end of dagger board and threaded a small piece of dyneema chord through it. Enough so i could reach under hull and pull down dagger board. Do the same at top of broken dagger board and feed chord through the dagger board opening in the hull. Pull forward to retrieve board. You might be able to pull back to deploy a little. Worked for me until i got new dagger. Cheers Pottsy Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk |

Yeah, being in Scotland I'm expecting a loooooooooong wait!! Thanks for the tip, I will give it a go. I might just slap it back in with some superglue initially? But I'll not be kept of the water put it that way... too many fish! |
