Trailering out from NorCal and will need dry storage in the Minneapolis area until we find a place to live. Any recommendations? On or near a lake would be great. How active is the TI Community in the Twin Cities area?

Welcome to Minnesota. We just moved here last summer from Southern California.

I don't know how active the TI community is in the twin cities but there is a dealer close by there who may be able to answer that for you:

Jeremy Dahl
HiTempo Snowsports-Watersports
3959 North Highway 61
White Bear Lake, MN 55110
651-429-3333
www.hitempo.com

They'll be delivering my TI soon.

I live very near Medicine Lake in Plymouth. I try to get out at least once every weekend. This April has been a real disappointment so far... the lake is still frozen over!

I don't know anything about storage. My TI sits under a tarp in my back yard all winter.

If anyone out there ever makes it as far North as Detroit Lakes, or Leech Lake let me know. :)

Hi MM,

We will roll in on the 25th! I think we have storage issue solved. Looking at properties out your way, Medicine Lake. We want waterfront property to compensate for the total lack of an ocean anywhere near the state.

When/If you see Lake Superior you won't miss the ocean, except for the salt. ;)

Milli Lacs Lake, Leech Lake, Red Lakes and Lake of the Woods are pretty big as well.

Actually lived in the Twin Cities from 1992 to 1993. Did Duluth and the lack of the scent of the sea when we saw Lake Superior tweaked my brain!
