As I remember, the 2011 vs 2015, the '11 dives much more ('15 has larger bow), the '15 has a larger sail/mast. The '11 has a bucket seat...you literally sit in water (living in South Florida, I never minded that). The '15 has the new Vantage seat. The '15 has the same separation of the aka bars as the tandem; the '11 does not. Presumably the '18 will have the new aka/cross bar connectors. There are probably other things, but I believe those are the big items. The 2015, and presumably the 2018, is a better sailing boat than the 2011. Still, I liked my 2011. Keith |

apart the new hull as mentioned before and the seat that were introduced in 2015, the 2011 model had a system to lock the seats that was not very efficient. you should have pegs that, in my 2012 AI never worked properly. since 2013 the pegs have a different and better locking mechanism. I think u can easily upgrade it. another difference is in the scupper holes that are weaker thereore i suggest you not to use that kind of dolly cart cause somebody damaged the hull with it. |
