Hi, I let someone use my hobie mirage and when it came back, the drive is stuck. It is seated in the left slot, but the right one is out of the slot. I don't know how to manually disconnect the left mechanism so that I can release the drive. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Barb |

It has been awhile since I've have had a drive stuck in its mechanism, but, as I remember, you simply have to use brute force (a heavy screw driver or a small crow bar) to get in there and release the mechanism. Keith |

Not sure which type you have, twist lock or lever lock. Before beating or prying try seating the unseated side and starting over. |

I’m glad to hear someone else had that issue. After 10 minutes of trying to get my drive released, I walked to my truck for tools. When I returned, my buddy had work it free. I figured it was the stuck lid on a jar situation. Work and work on the lid, pass it off to someone, they twist it off with no effort, and look at you like you’re a weakling or something.
