Removing Duct Tape from hulls

I did a stupid thing 3 years ago and now have to pay for it. I put red duct tape on the bottom of the amas to avoid scratches. Well it did work well but the front sections are falling off and the rest are stuck. I have used a heat gun razor blades and a few solvents, all involve considerable second effort to get the glue off.
Any suggestions? After a dozen razor blades and a few hours I need some fresh ideas. All that is left is the sticky residue on half of one hull.

Rubbing alcohol or cooking oil, I read, is effective.

Give WD40 a try.

Goo Gone follow the instructions allow it to sit and soak for awhile and rub off with a rough cloth turning frequently.

Second on the Goo Gone. That will dissolve most glues. It will need to soak in for a while to remove the dried up adhesive from the duct tape.

Also, if you must use a razor blade, don't use metal ones. There are now plastic razor blades that work almost as well but don't scratch. Use those.

Well, got it done. The solvents and a microfiber cloth after scraping with a razor seemed to be the best way. I also used a very rough emery paper to collect glue in the heavy areas.
Will NEVER use duct tape to protect the hull bottoms again.
