Post subject:  Spinnaker Installation

I just purchased a spinnaker kit for my Tandem Island (waiting for it to arrive) and am trying to get familiar with the installation. I watched the Hobie video and I understand most of it, but the video hardly touched the "Traveler Pulley Line", how it's made up and how it attaches to the sail. Does the spinnaker kit come with better instructions? Are there any videos out there that show this in more detail? I found a spinnaker thread in this forum but the last entry was 4 years old. I looked on Youtube and couldn't find anything. Any help in this area would be appreciated.

Here is the printed instruction that comes with the kits:

Detail on page four explains it.

Thanks Matt, that answered most of my questions. I have one more about the Jam Cleat. The instructions you sent me show where to mount it but don't cover anything about what line goes through it. The instructions that came with the kit don't mention it at all. Some help please?

There is a cleat to hold the spinnaker up after hoisting and the other... one the read aka is to cleat the snuffer line... holds the sail in the bag and allows you to add a bit of halyard tension to keep the halyard taut and away from the main sail gybing or when furling it.
