Any changes to the 2021 Tandem Island compared with 2020?

Colors, I believe, are the only change.

I know there's a lot of threads on here asking for changes to the AI/TI, but to me there is overall little improvements to be made below the water line on these boats at this point given their purpose, multifunctionality and kayak roots. The biggest change I was hoping for (since I am buying a 2021 TI to replace a 2017 that was damaged) was the addition of integrated gear tracks on the gunnels similar to the compass and outback (same sentiment goes for the Revo line too). Would have kept me from having to install some when I get mine....but oh well.

Hi. Just getting into the Island game after having two Revos. Since there’s such a shortage on Hobie kayak(s)/anything right now, we have ‘almost’ bought ourselves a used *2019 one. (we did not put any money down on it but said we’d be returning). We saw the original bill of sale , the guy told us up front that it had been a demo. I snapped shots of the hull and specifically the sticker with the manufacturing . Didn’t see it until we got home : it’s a 2015. The price we agreed on was $6K , including a Trailex 350 trailer. It does have the 180 fins and the Vantage seats. Since we’re new to the Island series, we’re hoping someone might advise us: other than the new ‘pop-up’ fins, are there any other changes since 2015 that you’d say, “don’t get it”? Thanks.

6k with a trailer would be solid for a TI. No significant changes that I am aware of.

I paid $4,300 for 2017 ?red? Adventure Island with trampolines, 180 drive and an Ezee wheel fat tire scupper cart if that helps
I searched for 3-4 months entire US Craigslist to get idea of prices etc.
pretty sure I got a good deal

Thank you all, for your responses about the 2015 TI. We have yet to get her out for her first run...splash gerar coming in on Santa’s sleigh.

Is there really a shortage on Hobie kayaks or just the island in particular? What about parts? just curious for future camping plans.
