When hiked out on a Haka, are you able to control the mainsheet and furling lines with standard cleats, or is it necessary to swap them out for swivel or 90-degree cleats?

On a starboard tack the standard cleat works fine. Port tacks require sitting aft on the haka, which for me balances the boat quite well. This will vary depending on crew and cargo of course. Port tack from the middle, and forward, require very long arms!

I've ordered a Harken X treme Angle Fairlead. I read that these help immensely.

I am interested the best solution for the main sheet cam cleat for hiking out as well. Is the extreme angle fair lead better than a swivel. Also what extreme angle fairlead did you order, micro or standard?
