I'm wondering what people use as a fender for the TI bow and the tips of the Amas. Do you have one that stays in-place when under-way, or do have some way of lifting it up to avoid drag?

We often have difficulty launching our TI, as the wind is typically blowing onto the dock, and there's not enough room at the dock to swing the boat around before boarding. So the bow and Amas need some protection at the front.

I’ve not done this myself, but it looks like an inexpensive solution to protect against abrasion. They used the grey PVC but white would work too. https://youtu.be/TC-NOYGHsco

I have found that the answer to every question that I have about my TI for which there is no other answer is, "cut up some pool noodles."

Ha! So true. You’d be amazed at how many problems I’ve solved with pool noodles.
