| Post subject: | Hobie tandem island mast/sail sleeve/ cover |
The cover for my TI sail/mast has not fared well under the sun. It's falling apart. New ones cost over $110 with taxes/shipping etc. Has anyone found a vendor for either a cheaper or higher quality one? It’s very simple construction but finding the material in that length could be difficult. You may try a local awning shop, they could have a resource for you and might be willing to make you one. If you can, look for a fabric called Sunbrella. It is by far more durable and UV resistant that the nylon/polyester that the original bag is made from. Good luck |
