I lost my dagger board, and my dealer ordered me a new one, but the new one is white and not black and it feels heavier. anyone know the difference and why I wouldn't get the same one that came with the boat? thanks |

The original boards were white. Perhaps they had one in stock? Should be the same... just different color. |

The 'smoke' daggerboard that comes with the AI is more expensive here in OZ than the white daggerboard. I couldn't see a difference other than colour and wondered why the extra? |

I've seen three different versions -- white, gray and translucent (where you can see the cells inside). I have a white and a gray and use them interchangeably. They appear to be identical in all other respects. The gray might look a little cooler but the white is rarer -- and will be harder to lose again! |
