I live in Guam and the chance to buy Hobie 18 wings is pretty much zero. I have figured out a way to fabricate and I have the stubs for the tramp track and brackets to attached to the beams. However, what I can't figure out is: How do I get the tramp lacing strip put on the rear beam if I have covered the bolt rope installation point with a wing leg attachment? On the forward beam the tramp installs from the middle but on the aft beam it installs on the starboard side. I have never seen a Hobie 18 with wings and I own the only Hobie 18 on island. Let me know how this is accomplished, thanks!! Randall |
