I call that quite reasonable.

I recently purchased a used Malone Microsport trailer for my Adventure Island. For now I have moved the cross bars apart as far as possible(about 62" between centers),and have the boat resting on a set of Yakima Landshark cradles.I let the amas rest on pool noodles on either side.My intent is to build 2" pvc bunks so I can store the boat on the trailer.I thought I would rip down a 2x4 where I can slide the wood inside the pvc pipe and then attach the pipe to the cross bars with the Yakima mighty mounts. My question is ,will 10 foot long pvc bunks be sufficient to support the boat for long term storage?

Yes if centered under the hull.
