Hi, sailors! Do you know the length of the TI without the rudder? It's stated that the overall length is 18' 6" / 5.64 M, and I think that must include the rudder. Some places it's stated that the hull length is 18' 6" / 5.64 M. So, I'm not sure. If I put the rudder on top of the stern for storage, I might get some extra centimeters. I desperately need them, because my garage is not so big. I live in Tromsø (Norway) and buying TI as soon as the snow goes a away. If I can fit it in my garage

18 foot 10 inches is the shipping dimension, so it includes a little padding on the ends. |

[code][/code]The shipping is not a big problem for me, but my small garage certainly is. Luckily, 1 hour drive from my home there's a Hobie dealership. What are the odds!!! So I'll visit them and check the length. If the overall length is 18' 6" / 5.64 M, I can remove the rudder and fit it in the garage. If the hull length is 18' 6" / 5.64 M, I need to get "creative" in order to store it......

I'd measure, but we don't have any boats at our parts shipping facility. |

I had a similar "garage" problem. I store my TI on my trailer in the garage. Length issue was easily solved by storing the trailer with the TI at a slight angle. Tight, but works for me. |
