My wife and I sail our Adventure Islands out of Rock Hall MD, anyone sailing the Northern part of the bay? |

Haven't tried there yet but always up for a new spot to check out. We were considering Annapolis, but it is a long drive. Your location sounds closer. Please share the details. |

I usually launch from the ramp in Rock Hall Harbor (Kent County ramp). Haven't tried any long trips yet, mainly just sailed back and forth along the coast. There's a nice little beach just North of the harbor with stone jetties that block some of the waves. I've been sailing most weekends in that area. I grew up boating, but sailing is new to me. Luckily the AI seems like it's pretty easy to learn with. I'll be there the whole week following Labor Day, maybe try a longer trip ![]() |

Launched Saturday from Bogle's Wharf on Eastern Neck Island. Sailed South around the Island and up the coast to the beach at Rock Hall. Nav app. Clocked 18.5 nautical miles. My longest trip so far. Wind died and had to pedal for about the last hour, but it was a great trip. |
