Sunday July 10th 2016 The inaugural Landlocked Island Club Regatta aka LICR 1 race. Glenn Cunningham Lake, Omaha, Nebraska 10am registration 11am start race course to be set, likely race north to a buoy, then back south, go around the island on the north western inlet , race back to the marina. This is all in fun, and a new event. Any input or ideas would be appreciated. Waterguns is one option... biggest fish caught while racing is another We will have prizes, and the support of our favorite dealer Select Sail We will likely have a nice reach to the north buoy then pedal and tack all the way back. should be a fun challenge. Non island kayaks are welcome to join, we will also need a committee boat. Thanks, Joe Garcia |
