Post subject:  Tandem Island Spinnaker kit haylard length

We bought a tandem island new in March down in the Florida keys from a dealer in Key Largo. We absolutely love the boat! We also bought a tandem island spinnaker kit that we we just tried to install (it's now August). I think the halyard we got with the spinnaker is for the island as it's about 4-5' short. We can't pull the spinnaker all the way into the snuffer as the bow pulley line tightens up and prevents the tack from retracting into the snuffer. I'm pretty confident we have the halyard routed correctly, as I re-strung it 3 times.

Does anyone know what length the halyard needs to be on the tandem island spinnaker? I think it has to be pretty close to perfect for it to all work correctly.

Thanks

Very early kits may have been a little short, but it is also designed for forward seating control.

Current length is shown as: 83 feet (We added some length to allow aft seat halyard control.
