Post subject:  Sail tie down to the mast

Hey guys I just finished my A I convertion and I have a question on how to tie the sail to the mast furler, I could not afford a hobie sail so I purchased a after market sail by intensity sails,it fit good but I need some help tying it down the the mast furler can anybody help me with this ,thanks

There should be a webbing strap at the top of the sail sleeve that goes into the top of the mast. Then at the bottom of the sail there is a piece of line that runs through the bottom of the sleeve, an attachment point on the mast, and a cleat on the mast. This is the down haul for the sail. With the top and bottom attached to the mast you can now furl.
