Post subject:  Cleaning inside of Vaka

The inside of my TI hull is getting funky.
What is the best way to clean?
Is it advisable to just put some liquid soap in it and fill it up with a hose. Then drain it out by unscrewing the stopper in the back/

I also noticed some when coming in from my last sail there were some bubbling foam oozing up from the reinforced scupper in front of the rear seat, and also just behind the front seat. So I am think that would be a way of finding the leak if any.

Thanks

Give it a warm Pinesol enema. Use soap and some bleach if anything's growing in there (or died).

I've always rinsed the insides with soap and spray after every use, because the salt water can really eat at the v-brace and brass parts.

At the risk of attracting occupants, I leave the ports cracked open when storing.

Are you selling the boat?

ALoha,

It will have to be a cold pine sol enema as all there is at the marina is a hose.

Not selling. Love the TI.
