I am trying to replace the front bungee cord that holds the front hatch cover down. How do you remove the black plastic grommet that the bungee cord passes through? |

There is a specific hobie tool. However a pair of needle nose pliers with the points inserted into the indents and just unscrew works just as well. All the padeyes etc are fitted the same way and various mounting accessories are interchangeable. The bungie is just finished with a knot tied under this fitting, so its easy to replace |
