I have just got a brand new Hobie AI.. I was super stoked to see there was no bottom dents from transport in the kayak ![]() However there is (What iam afraid of) at bad stern dent see pictures. Is it fixable and if yes how do i go abaut fixing it. Its been in the sun for 1 day and nothing... Boiling hot water and its a little better but overall nothing to the sharp dent ![]() And to make things worse, its now sailing weather where i live ![]() |

That is either from storage or freight damage. Typically these can be fixed using a hot water technique. This will not affect performance if the boat though. Quote: Easy Dent Removal
