Post subject:  up/down cables twisted

The cable from the up rudder T-handle is twisting around itself after it goes through the block (which is attached to the bungee). The same thing is happening to the Down side but it isn't twisting as much. What is the correct way to fix this problem? I untwist the cord but as soon as I let it go it twists back on itself again.

To clarify, the cord from the T-handle runs forward to a block that is attached to the side of the hull by 2 screws. It then runs aft to another block that hangs freely and is attached to the bungee that runs back to the rudder. After running threw this second block the cord is twisting upon itself as it runs forward to the front t-handle. How do I fix this?

Thanks

Just solved the same problem:
Up stuck because of twisted cables and cought itself in the block screwed to the hull.

The middle screw in the block was loose.

after untwisting the cables to and from the backblock and holding the block right I pulled the Up handle several times an let it go,
so it untwisted itself.
So it showed, the twist was in the cable from turning the handle.

please excuse my english  , I´m not a nativ speeker
