Does anyone know if the PA is supposed to come with two bungees to imobilize the Mirage drive when you are shallow? My PA came with two, left and right, so it's easy to grab whichever is convenient. We just noticed that my brother's PA only came with one bungee. What's the deal? |

TDK, you must be the Chosen One! I got the same deal as your brother and received only one bungee. That's OK, I favor my right leg anyway, ending with the final stroke on that side so I keep my bungee on the Left. GR8 Laker |

Thanks GR8 Laker. Well, I'd rather win the lottery, but I'll take whatever luck I can get! What I really need is luck catching more fish. I, too, tend to use the bungee on the left. I also use it to secure the steering handle when I remove the seat. We took the boats on their maiden voyage! I'm going to put together a complete post with more pics, but here's one of a proud and and completely satisfied PA owner. What a great rig! TDK ![]() |

The shock cord with a hook on the end (pedal retainer) in attached to an eye in the floor just ahead of the seat. You pull it (the hook) forward and hook to a pedal shaft. This holds the fins up tightly against the hull bottom when not in use. Not designed to be attached to the drive when pedaling. |

On the subject of the bungee hook for the mirage drive,... I would like to suggest that the attachment point for the hook would be better suited in front of the drive so it doesn't interfere with leg room and/or become a tripping hazard as well |

Outstanding idea - as long as it is positioned so that it can still be reached. |
