Do you car top your PA? Car topping looks doable on my CR-V. I am tall at 6'4". My existing Thule racks may need wider load bars to accommodate both the PA and either my Outback or Mirage which would be mounted at an angle on these:  And the PA on these:  That's my idea so far but those Trailex trailers look mighty tempting.  --- |

I do exactly what you are talking about with an AI, and a Revolution. The Pro Angler is a HEAVY boat though. Watch your roof rack rating, (probably only about 100 lbs) and use bow and stern lines on both boats. If some piece of the rack, or straps fail, the bow and stern lines will keep your boat on the roof. Don't try this with your factory cross bars either, they're not rated to hold much weight. I use Yakima bars, but Thule or Yakima are both good brands. |

I am leaning now towards the single Trailex trailer from Hobie while using my Thule rack for the other two kayaks I have. That would give me a lot of transport flexibility and avoid lifting that heavy PA. -- |

If you can swing a trailer, (especially with the PA) that's by far the best way to go. It will save you a lot of backache, not to mention it's probably much safer to keep that weight low and behind you, instead of high and above you. You'll also launch much quicker and easier. |

  If it's not on the trailer, it goes in the back of my truck, but the trailer is much lower and easier to load. |

that is a heck of a trailer, I bet it is heavy and you would need at least a half ton truck to pull it. |
