| Post subject: | Heavy duty coiled rod leash needed |
I am looking for a Hobie heavy duty coiled rod leash (see page 16 of the 2010 catalog, item 74053001, Rod Leash, Heavy Duty Coil at http://www.hobie-kayak.com/cms/uploads/ ... 010-11.pdf ). I bought several of these last summer and need to add one more to my PA. Unfortunately, the current accessories catalog no longer lists these, and Hobie said they do not carry them anymore. The quick release clip on their current model does not work with the previous quick release clips, so if I buy a new one and mix-n-match with what I have, I cannot quickly move a rod to a different spot on my PA due to release clip incompatibility. I have checked with all the Hobie dealers here in Michigan to see if anyone has one left over from last years stock, but so far no luck. Anybody know a dealer who may have one of these still in stock? |

Thanks for the tips. Jenda had one, but cross-border shipping from Ontario cost more than the rod leash! I was able to locate one in Virginia and should be back in business in a couple of days. |
