We had the same set up with Yakima saddles for our Oasis on the same trailer.
My wife kept warning me that we could cause dents in our Oasis. As usual she was right.
On the first really hot day coming back from the lake (about a 35 minute drive), we had some really severe dents where the Oasis rested on the saddles. In our driveway, we flipped the Oasis over to rest upside down and most of the indentations came out. It was over 100 degrees, air temp, and egg frying temps on the pavement which reflected the heat up to the Oasis on the saddles.
I bought 4 Yakima round pads for the cross bars, removed the saddles and put the pads on the bars so the Oasis would rest on them upside down. No more indentations and most of the ones from my
original failure have come out.Hobie has warned us about transporting and storing their yaks right side up. We had one more event that proved they had good advise. We went to another lake where it is hotter and the guys, who patrol the parking lots don't want trailers in most of the lots. So I hooked up my bed extender and we put the Oasis in the bed and on the bed extender rack. 45 minutes later, we had some indentations from the rain slots in the truck bed and across the back rack of the bed extended. On the trip back the Oasis was upside down and the indentations were gone by the time we got home.

If it gets hot where you live you may end up with dents where each saddle contacts the PA. I use Yakima Mako saddles and there are dents where each saddle contacts my PA. I am going to switch to Hobie's PA cradles.
