1.25 inch rod holder hole. Simple and works well. I use the tie down from the hand rail to connect to the first eyelet which holds it in position.

I know that's not a high end rod, but hooking the elastic boat retainer cord to any guide on a rod is eventually going to do damage to the rod. |
