Post subject:  Rear storage

I wanted see what other guys are using the rear compartment for. The latch is difficult to reach while seated and have used mine to store an additional rear lead.

I dont feel like i am maxing out the full potential of all of storage on the boat and would love to see what everyone else uses the compartment for.

I cut the tray, and put my 12v battery in there for my fishfinder.

Does anyone know if they make a tray that wouldn't need cutting to put a 12v in?

I have never used the storage compartment, too difficult for me to access while on the water due to two torn rotator cuffs.

We cut out the partitions and drop the bucket in for holding stuff like car keys, cash, cell phone, etc. Stuff you want with you but don't want to take a chance on losing or dropping in the water.

I keep various spare parts (for the mirage drive), fasteners, small tools, and items needed to fix things if I should ever need to.

That's how I use mine. It's good to keep some spare split rings for the pins that hold the turbo fins connected to the mirage drive. a pair of pliers, spare batteries, zip ties, and some first aid items (e.g., bandaids, disinfectanct).

That's what I do with mine too. Back is the place for all spares, parts, screws etc.

i keep a medkit and some mirage parts (pins and clips) in my bucket in the rear hatch.

I do like what was done for a battery holder tho!
I have a foam block up in the nose now to hold my battery in place.
