Guys, where is the best place to mount one of the kodak movie cameras, the one that is the size of a cell phone? |

That's personal preference. Depends on what you want to shoot. If you want to get video catching fish than put it on a mount behind you above your shoulder, if you want yourself than place the mount on one of the side boards or the sail mast hole. |

I will be following your post as I have a new Kodak Play Sport. It's movie capabilities are excellent, and its still photos beat my Olympus. It is water proof and shock proof like my Olymps and weighs a lot less. I bought the little water wings/PFD for it. A similiar but bigger PFD has saved my Olympus twice. The fact that it is waterproof and shock proof without having to use a protective case, makes it very easy to use. The remote system is low cost and works. If you shop around, you should be able to get one for about $100. You will have to purchase a high speed card at Costco or Walmart for about $18. The PFD and remote are very reasonable in price. The Kodak online site is easier to use for me versus Photo Shop. I ordered the camera mount, and it isn't large enough in diameter to wrap around the H Bar on my FH Pathfinder. So I doubt that it would wrap around the H Bar on the PA's wbrewski wrote: Guys, where is the best place to mount one of the kodak movie cameras, the one that is the size of a cell phone?

Check out the PanFish and PanFish Portrait from YakAttack if your looking for a camera mount. I have a Playsport that I use and also take pictures with while tournament fishing. I have mine set up on a PanFish Portrat. I'll see if I can find some pictures tonight. |

Can't help with the mount, but there's a waterproof video camera with accessories on woot.com today (and today ONLY) for $140. You might want to check it out. |

I have my GoPro mounted on the port side rail. I also have my fishfinder and H-Bar mounted on this rail. I can post a picture if someone can tell me how. Darn newbies... |

except for the RAM mount ball in the mast hole all parts were from Yakattack.com: ![]() I use a bungie cord from the middle of the assy. to the front of the PA to help steady the assy. from bouncing around so much in waves. |
