I have tried to pull the 14 with very little success. The drive well allows tremendous amounts of water to come into the kayak even with the plug in place. We were able to tow the yak at a slow place but we were better off securing them to the bow of the boat. If you come up with a way to make this work or if there is someone out there with the answers please share. |

Perhaps this is another situation where duct tape can fix the problem. Put tape on the underside to seal the gap, just a thought I have never tried it. |

Packing tape works great, stays put, leaves no residue. ![]() ![]() If the boat is directionally unstable, bow forward, try it backwards. Take your time and make sure the rudder is secured or removed for longer trips. Play with your towing length. How the boat rides on your stern wake makes a difference as to resistance and directional stability. ![]() |
