Does the bubbles from the mirage drive distort the images that are shown on the screen? I ask because a local shop here says it will and to mount the transducer in the hull in front of the mirage drive. P.S. they don't sell Hobies. |

I have mine installed with the ready mount. NO ISSUES at all. Works like it is supposed to and much easier to install. |

Absolutely no issues at all with bubbles or whatever. |

Same here. No issues with bubbles and my Lowrance Elite-4 DSI on my PA 12. |
