I sold my Outback a few years ago and regretted it from the first week.
Just traded some stuff for a like new 2012 Pro Angler and I must say it is certainly different than the Outback.
Big, roomy, stable, Sonar ready, lots of other features and a absolute killer seat!
Is this really a Kayak?
I think it should be classed as a small boat.
Anyway I am as happy as I can be with the new Pro Angler and can not wait to get it out on the water.
Going trailer shopping as it is heavier and wider than the Outback.
The Outback was a strain to get up on the truck racks for this old fisherman ... :P

Put a hitch receiver on the front and use a small boat winch to pull the Yak on top. Easy as pie.

Congrats on the new PA. I've only had mine wet once so far, but love it.
Know you'll enjoy it.

Congrats as well on the new PA purchase. I'm out in mine several times a week and never get tired of being on the water. It's a great fishing platform as well as good exercise. Regarding your kayak classification question...Hobie refers to the PA as a Personal Water Craft (PWC) if I remember correctly. That's why they don't call it a kayak.

I haven't had the pleasure of sitting in the new Vantage seat, but I honestly love the original seat! A huge improvement over the traditional kayak type seating.
