Was tooling along nicely when I suddenly found myself looking up at the sky because the back of my vantage seat let loose. Don't believe the cord broke but came free of whatever retains it. On the side that controls the seat bottom it appears to be a small washer and the end of the cord looks like it was melted to make a ball and prevent it from pulling through the washer. Kinda bogus in my opinion. Anyway, I need to know if this is something I can repair myself and if so how? Not sure how to route the cord into the arm and control mechanism. Do I need to file a warranty claim?
