I have a Trailex double trailer with the tower and PA cradles that Hobie sells and thought about keeping my PA on it all the time. If I put a tarp over the tower to shade the PA will I get dents in the hull from the cradles if the temps are in the 90 degree range. |

I have the same Hobie Trailex Double w/cradles. While I have been keeping it in the garage, I'm sure it is seeing above 90 deg. heat today. If I was storing it outside, I would be most concerned about shading it from the day-in and day-out exposure to the sun. I wouldn't think the heat will effect it sitting on the cradles. They are pretty wide, even though they don't fit the shape of the hull really well. Marty |

Don't use a dark colored tarp. Heat will build up and melt your PA ![]() |

Thanks for the reply guys. I'm going to attach a piece of PVC pipe to the tower and drape a tarp down on one side to block the sun as the house blocks the other side. I have a Hobie cover that I can put on the PA to keep it clean. |
