I have a tandem trailer with two PA 14s on it. When I go fishing by myself I need to take one off and leave it at home for the day. I store them on the trailer in one of my garage bays. Would it be safe to suspend the PA above the trailer via ropes/pulleys from the ceiling using the front and rear bar handles? It would typically hang there for a day at the most. It appears that the handles are quite sturdy and these would be static loads on them of course. |

No. The materials will slowly distort under constant load. Best to create wide straps, cradles or crossbars under the hull and lift from those points. |
