That's how I have mine stored and I highly recommend it if you can.

It turns out I'm going to have to store my PA 14 outside. It won't fit in my garage. Does anyone store there's outside? Please advise |

I would get some 3" PVC pipes to lift it off the ground some, and then get a UV resistant cover for it. Rinse and dry before you put it away, and then rinse again before you head out to get rid of any creepy crawlies that make their home there. Also a good chain and anchor point to lock it up would be smart as well. |

At times I have stored my PA on its transport trailer under a 10x20 car canopy. Can you store your PA in your garage up against the ceiling? |

I think from what I remember reading in the manuals your not supposed to store the Pro Angler upside down. You may want to check that. Sent from my Galaxy Note II |

I don't know about where you're at, but in my area, the squirrels love to chew on anything plastic or plastic like. Our lawn furniture has teeth marks all over it. Fortunately I have room in my garage for the kayaks. Just something to think about. |

I have same Racor lift as TDK and intend to zip tie two pool noodle on rack and store upright. I have only had my PA for 3 weeks so for now is sitting in my sunroom on pool noodles on coffee table. Much easier, and warmer, to do mods there. |

Definitely considering the Harken Hoist system Jambone has used. But if I have to go outside thinking of making a cart. Saw some YouTube videos on that. I saw in the guide Hobie has a customized storage cover for the Hobie. If I use pvc pipe for the under carriage. Has anyone had a deformation or cracking from the heat? Even if I use foam pool noodles is there a chance? |

When I used 6 Yakima Mako Shark saddles on my 1/4 ton Bantam trailer to store my 14' PA I would get dents in the hull from the saddles (my PA is stored on the trailer but not tied down while stored). The Mako saddles are not heavy duty enough for a PA and would collapse almost allowing my PA's hull to touch the cross bar underneath the saddles. I switched to 4" black ABS pipes and no problems at all. The dents even went away gradually during hot weather. |

Good news. Don't have to store it outside worked out a deal for the garage. Can't suspend it from the ceiling though. Was going to make a stand for it. Can it lay flat or should I put some padded pvc pipe underneath it? There is no ac in the garage so don't want risk warping the bottom. |
