Congrats. I'm right behind you (and apparently in near the same truck). I transport my yaks in the bed, though - tailgate down with a bed extender from the boat hitch.
Getting it up on that roof must've been a chore...

Thumbs up on your new ride. You'll love how it fishes, and enjoy rigging it too.

Congrats on the new PA! Let us know how you like fishing out of it after a few trips. I'm sure your response will be positive. :D

The problem I run into is my yaks go with me when we go camping. And my wifes Idea of camping is the 36' camper being dragged behind the truck. So I figured I might as well as get used to loading it up on the top of the cab. It actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. slid it into the bed then got up in the bed, picked up the front end and set it on the back rack then slide it the rest of the way up. then to reverse it I just pulled the back handle and set it down on the tailgate with it up and then hoped down and slid it the rest of the at to the ground. Was a lot easier than how I have been loading my shorter river kayak
