Hey Guys If the PA 14 is heavier then my Outback, Will the outback can get into shallower water the the PA? |

It has more to do with displacement of water than weight alone. The hull width and length are greater in the PA14, and possibly could compensate for the weight difference. that being said, the only way to know would be to have both of them loaded with their gear and rider, and measure the draft. |

Having first owned a Outback and now a PA-14, I believe the PA might be slightly better in shallow only because it's wider and longer.....In any case, when in shallow water, I always keep the mirage drive fins up against the hull, using the pedal retainer bungee to avoid any damage... |
