So me and my dad are both getting PA's next month and want to get a single trailer for them. My dad wants to get a single trailer and make it a double trailer vertically. I would much rather do a side by side trailer like a jet ski trailer. It doesn't need to be fancy, we just want something inexpensive and get them from A to B. I've seen plenty of stuff on singles but not doubles. Thanks for the help guys! |

I would look around your area and see what's available used.... all you need is an axle, tongue, hubs, tires and rims... the rest you can engineer to fit what you need with easy to install bolt-ons... |

Go with side by side trailer. Launch and retrieve is piece of cake! If you do single trailer stacking the PA's - remember they are not lightweights. [img][/img] |

I would agree with you on the side by side trailer....if they were stacked and only one of you went out...and your PA was on the top, unloading or loading it by yourself would be a real chore. In any case, side by side is the simplest to load/unload and a jet ski trailer or similar trailer makes sense...the Hobie Trailex trailer could handle two PA's side by side if you used wider cross bars with the higher capacity model. To keep it simple, use the 2 7/8" OD PVC, Schedule 40 parallel pipes to cradle both PA's....easy to store, launch, recover, trail on the trailer. |

I recently converted my trailer to carry two side by side. ![]() |

Vertical is not the way to go, I tried it. It's far easier launching and loading two PA's in a side by side configuration, like the one shown in the previous post. My trailer now is convertible to carry one, or two with an additional platform to clear the wheels. It's easy to install the second tier, takes about 10 minutes to install or remove by myself. |

Thanks for the info and pics guys. Collectively it all convinced my dad to go side by side instead of vertical. All that's left now is to find a cheap trailer on CL |

Check out places that sell waverunners... I got a galvanized one for about $250. Guy blew his runner up (happens a lot) and wasn't interested in the re-build. Sold it to the dealer to part out and he wanted to sell the trailer separately.... if they don't have anything on the lot, might give you some leads. Also, check with places that rebuild and sell boat trailers, they take old ones in on trade and sometimes they have bits and pieces of several that you can Frankenstein one together.... espec if you have access to welding source..., usually just sell the frames for scrap. |

The Magic Tilt trailer measures 39" wide for the trailer frame. Measuring the width, outside wheel hubs, is 53". The treated wood cross bars are 6" wide. |
