| Post subject: | DIY Projects for Sail Mast on PA12 |
Just got a new PA12 and was curious what kinds of things you guys use the sail mast for aside from sailing. Post some pics. I once mounted a fishfinder on my old Hobie Revo using the Ram wedge mount. I was thinking of trying to make some type of gear box/lure hanger for the sail mount and using pvc. Let me see what other ideas are out there. |

I use the sail mount for my Humminbird 898 fish finder. I'm using the 1.5" ball mount with a 8" extension arm. The extension enables the fish finder to set high enough to still pedal and set forward enough to reach to make adjustments. |

I made mine into a digital camera mount. I can take pictures of my catches using the 10 second delay with no problem at all. |
