I lost 1/2 my paddle yesterday in the lake. I looked for it but could not find it. I will go back to look for it again, if I know it floats with the end plug inserted. I would assume it does, but I need to know for sure before I invest more time in looking for it. |

It's my understanding that either half of the paddle should float. I believe both shafts have foam flotation in them. I can check mine tonight when I get home and let you know. Maybe someone else can chime in as well. I hope you find it. |

Well if you're talking about the paddle that comes with the Pro Angler, yes it does float. After tying a string on mine so as not to have to go swimming for it, I threw both ends in the swimming pool, and with or without the end cap, THEY FLOAT! Hope you find yours. |

"pjs" is correct in the floatability assessment. Hope you find the missing piece. |

Thanks guys. Based on the facts u have given me, I will resume my search this morning. A buddy will me joining me so we can cover more water. I noticed it was gone in the first half hour, so the most water I have to look in is about 25 acres, and it is only a 100 acre lake. |
