I'm in the process of making my own life well and just curious of how big a bilge pump would y'all recommend? I will be using a small 30qt cooler and will used for just bait (pin fish, shrimp and live cigars) |

I use a Rule 360 in my tank. It's always worked well for me. |

I built a system using a 5 gal bucket that keeps 6 gogs and a dozen pilchards alive all day. I use a rule 360 bilge pump with a 6V battery to slow it down. I also have a timer that runs for 1 min the off for 7. I've recently added an O2 infusion system and fins that I only have to run my pump for a minute every half hour. I'll post pictures if you like. |

Wahoo, are you going to build one that brings new water in from below the boat or just a recirculating system? If your doing the former, can you post the finished product for ideas? I'm in the process of drawing up plans for mine as well. |
