Although I have not had any problems with the 8" wheels on my Trailex SUT I decided to consider changing out to 12" wheels. After pricing and making sure they would fit I decided to call Trailex and get their opinion on it. They said this is a common issue that they get a lot of calls on. They said that the trailer will bounce a lot and I would probably switch back after a couple of times out. That is why they issue the 8" wheels in the first place. Since I have travelled on 2 trips of 1000 miles each way without incident and many shorter ones I am standing pat with the 8". |

If that's what the manufacture endorses, then that sounds like that's the way to go. ![]() |
