How do you guys seal your front hatch better on a PA14. I get a little water in the hull and in the liner from boat wakes and rain. The liner does not fit in the hatch right and leaves a gap in each rear corner. |

I searched found one that was for the older models and it went off topic a page in. Just wondering if there was a more recent post. |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1epb7IZhnyE Here is how we did it. Some 1/2 polyethylene foam, spray glue and Voila, it's sealed. The extra thickness of the foam compresses the tub deeper in to the weather strip AND insulates the tub. We then went even further and insulated the tub itself. It makes a pretty good cooler and I'm in Florida sun! See that here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9RCZNrchbw Hope it helps! |
