The PA is a pain when it comes to putting the dolly wheels in those scuppers. I saw a guy on youtube add receiver tubes on the rear between the carrying handle and the body. If the dolly is attached to the rear carrying handle am I going to be over stressing those handles? finny |

If loaded to the handle... I think so. Did you consider the cradle dolly style? Way easier to load. |

I have not considered that. I know those cradles can be bought, can the hobie cart be converted without too much hardware? |

Thats fine if you are lauching from a beach house but how do you transport the cradle dolly and the PA. Its WAY to big to be any use to most people. Its a shame that Hobie can't (or won't) engineer a product that makes it easy to move a PA from the truck to the water and back. As mentioned, it is a pain to try to put the scupper wheels on the PA while it is in the water ........ near impossible if they are balloon tires and even a bigger pain to have to unload the PA so it can be rolled over to put the wheels on ........... would be nice if something could be atached to the handles. |

I'm open to suggestions for sure. Just don't see how you get the best of both Worlds here. A big heavy boat requires a substantial cart. Trax 2-30 seems to fit the portability issues. Dollies fit the easy to load / unload issues. Catamarans and other small sailboats have long be using dollies and large wheels systems for beach launching... that can not be taken on the water. Just like the trailer. |

Matt ........ get your engineers to figure it out .... Hobie builds it and we buy it .... scupper carts are fine for lighter yaks that you can easily lift and find the holes but not for the PA. It's another example of not building things for your more expensive products ....... |

The dolly is your best answer and not... nothing. We are always looking at solutions, but there isn't always one that fits all needs. |

Uhhh .......REALLY? .......... Cover that doesn't fit the Pa ..... Side kick that doesn't fit the PA ......... Scupper cart that fell apart on the PA ......... Evolve that you can't use on the back of a PA ......... And no good solution for a cart ......... A dolly that is too big to transport with a PA ........... The toy box that can't be locked .......... A live well that splits ...... Shall I continue? ........ All of these are well documented here on this board and many others The customer shouldn't have to reengineer just about every very expensive accessory that Hobie makes for the Cadillac of the Hobie Kayak line. |

Memory Maker... Ugh. Really? New Covers are coming LiveWells don't split that was way back Dollies work great, Trax 2-30 and HD are tough and work well. Weld issues were corrected long ago. You don't need a sidekick on a stable boat Trolling motor option is coming (starts on the 17) I've known you through forums for a long time though... so not surprised. |

Please tell me you are working on a trolling motor mount for the shorter pro anglers like on the 17 foot model. I would love to be able to mount one of those gps enabled trolling motors made by Motorguide or Minn Kota. |

Didn't mean to start a down with Hobie bit. I have a 2013 PA and think it is great. Most complex products have growing pains. As far as I know Hobie has been positively responsive to reported serious issues and I haven't heard of someone with a completely broken PA. The cart is tough to use, the lake entry/exit points where I live are not nice and sandy and getting wet when the water is about 10 degree Celsius is not fun. If the cart is my only issue I will be happy and maybe figure something out or copy someone else's solution. thank you. |

Matt, i as well would like to know what the trolling motor option is about. I plan on purchasing the torqeedo when i get my yak the first week of January and would really like to know what all my options are before that time. I sure hope you have all the accessories out by then as well . Im ready to hit the creeks around here. Thanks |

I would love a mount that allows the mirage drive to stay in up front while using what Bassin suggested on the rear of the yak. Best of both worlds with the option to use what works best in a situation. I wish Hobie could bring their price points down on accessories and make profits on volume of sales. |
