Are the trailer cradles and cart for the PA17T available yet? What are/will be the part numbers? |

I was recently told by my local Hobie dealer that the PA dolly for the 14 that I have will not work for the 17T that I bought. That I would need to buy an entirely new dolly for the 17 and not just the cradle. Is this true or can I buy just the cradle and switch out the older one? He stated that his Hobie rep told him that Hobie said it is not wide enough for the 17T. |

PA 17 dolly uses the Island width frame. You can't use the PA 12/14 dolly frame I am told. |

Is there a cart that can fit in skupper holes for the pa17t. Still a mystery to me if there is one? Trying to get the first pa17 in Canada down to the water as easily as possible. |

We recommend the dolly rather than a plug-in cart. The boat is really quite large for a Plug-in. |

just for clarification . there are carts rated to carry 200 pounds( The Pa 17T weighs 180 Pounds I believe). So is the problem the holes are strong enough to support the weight or the cart is the problem? Thanks in advance ![]() I am thinking the dolly is large and cumbursom have to think about storing that thing and am wondering what "flight deck " it would take space on the HMCS Therapy...lol |

If you don't mind flipping it on it's side to insert the cart... it would work in the existing scupper holes where reinforcements are placed by us. There are two sets. |

I searched in this forum and did not see details/measurements on the positioning of cradles under the hull. Anyone knows? |

As close to the center of the kayak as possible, about right underneath the Hobie logo on the side of the boat...or when the pontoons fill out scoops in the cradle. |

Starting from the front, match the front cradle scoop to hull pontoon. Once the front cradle is established, add about 67 inches to determine where to start matching rear cradle scoop to hull pontoon. |
