Has anybody installed Scottie 302 Kayak Stabilizers on the PA? Is there another companies product that has been installed and proved effective? I know from past threads that the Hobie Sidekick is not for a PA. I am still interested in outriggers and do not want to turn this into a DIY half solution. |

How about "lashing together" 2 PA's sided by side, about 2 feet apart ![]() Think about how much you can carry and still have fun ![]() |

![]() Those are the Spring Creek Outriggers. I like them as there is no chance of me putting a hole in them with a hook and they are more stable. I got them because i wanted to sail it but have never sailed and wanted the added confidence they provide. I have been out in big water and i can kick them out or put em out really easy. I can stand up without them but in rougher water i still pop up and get a better view of whales or try and spot the tuna busting the bait. They are more expensive (close to $400) but to me it was well worth it as they are built well and the install takes a bit of planning and pay attention to reaching the underside but very doable. Good luck! |

Spring Creek stabilizers look substantial and certainly should do the job. Do they provide significant drag during peddling? Has anyone tried the Stand-N-Fish outriggers? They can be lifted out of the water for peddling. They, Stand-N-Fish, told me that they have sold them to PA owners. I wonder where they installed them relative to the seat and what they think of them- ease of install, use on the water, stability when standing, etc. |
