Looking at doing something like this for my 17T. Question though do you guys pull up the factory pad? Also anyone ever sell a yak with seadek does it hinder the sale? I plan to use my 17T for 2 years and if we get stationed back were theres big water sell it and get a cat or an island. ![]() all I can say is WOW! If you want to see more look http://www.seadek.com/blog/2015-hobie-pa-17-seadek-kit/ I like the wakeboard tower err.... polling platform =) |

I was interested in doing Seadeck for the TI, but I would have to do the work of coming up with a pattern for them and I wasn't sure how much it would cost in the long run. I plan on hakas at some point and depending on if I go wood or plastic spine board I might consider putting it on the spine board. It looked nice though and I noticed most of the boats with swim platforms at the boat show had some sort of Seadeck material on them. As for the 17T I would think it could increase the resale value as long as you stayed with something neutral. Go with a crazy color and you might have trouble trying to sell. |

Let me know when yo pick up your TI if you need a sailing partner. The water at Zorinsky today was 56-60. I waded in to recover the yak and it was chilly but not numbing. |

What is that white & black bracket mounted on the rear of the 17t? (not the platform) |

The SeaDek is much more comfortable than the factory pad. There are over a dozen colors available as well. |
