Guys,
On the rear deck of my 2015 PA on the seat side of the rear hatch there is a hole in the deck. One of the drain grooves in the deck leads directly to it. There isnt a cover or plug for it and its filling my hull with water. I got caught in a heavy rain storm and a liter or so maybe more got in the hull. Couple of questions, should there have been a plug to fill the hole? Recommendations on drying the inside out? I've opened the drain plugs and drained it but the foam is soaked and there is still a lot of moisture in the hull. I'm going to open the hatches and let the sun dry it out some if it ever comes back out. To keep water out in the interim I've got a scupper hole plug stuck in there but it extends well above the deck level and won allow my cooler or crate to sit flush. I cant help but think there's a piece or part missing. I will call my dealer when they reopen to ask them as well. Any insight or help is appreciated

I'm curious how plugging the top of the scupper is keeping water from getting inside the hull? The skeg plugs in to the bottom of that hole?
I'm not really clear on what you are saying is leaking.

open both hatches and use a fan to push air through the back hatch.
Those small honeywell desk fans would dry it out fast.

Strange place for a hole without a plug unless it is a scupper. There is no way that no plug normal. I don't have a 2015 and suspect there is a missing plug.

How do you know that is where the water got in?

If this is the hole you are talking about water coming through it shouldnt fill the inside of your hull . Its basically a scupper hole.
If its leaking plugging the top will not help.

Thats the hole. You're all correct that is not where it was leaking from. I stuck my Gopro and light in the hatch and ran water over the rear deck. The rear hatch seal wasnt tight and water was coming in around it. I pulled it and added a thin bead of marine goop and resealed it. No more leak. Thanks guys.
